So I got this great chance to save money before I leave Africa. My friends and mentors, Les and Jan who are going to hike the Appalachian Trail until August, are offering up their house to me for FREE!!! I lived there two years ago when I was a Younglife Leader in Martinsburg, and before I moved to Morgantown. They have always been such a fount of Knowledge and "hook-ups." Did I mention that because Jan is leaving, she needs a long-term substitute guidance counselor and I am just that person!! So, not only do I have a steady job as a counselor (which I love and have been doing for the past 2 weeks), and I will have free rent!
With that extra money, I can take that rent money and put it into my car loan payment, which then will perfectly work out so that when I leave for Africa, I will no longer have to worry about that! God is good. I prayed about about these exact things!
